What is your turnaround time?

Our current turnaround for our listed items is 5-10 business days. We will always post any applicable changes due to holidays, and will be transparent during the ordering process regarding any additional time for custom orders. Please note, processing time does NOT include shipping - you can select your own shipping speed at checkout.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We do not accept returns or exchanges on personalized items. Please reach out via email at shop@JLWoodworkinganddesigns.com

Can you create custom items?

We do offer custom items! You can get an idea for our custom furniture from our main pages. Some of our favorite projects have been custom work; we have created items as small as baby name signs, up to large dining and gaming tables. Please reach out to shop@JLWoodworkingandDesigns.com so that we can chat further! We would love to help you bring your ideas to life!

 Are you able to engrave a personal item of mine?

Pricing and availability may vary. We do offer an engraved tumbler logo fee regularly (visit our Shop section). Please reach out to us with any additional questions at shop@JLWoodworkingandDesigns.com

Can you do Wholesale Orders?

Do you all ship Internationally?

We currently only ship within the United States.

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes! Local pick up is free for Milford, CT. Please select the local pick-up option at checkout. You will receive email instructions when your order is ready.

Why does the engraving, or the wood look different than what is shown on your website?

Since each of our products is handmade, each piece is also unique and one of a kind. Almost all of our wood products are milled down from large pieces of lumber. Lumber, like all natural materials, has inherent disparities in color and grain pattern. Variations will occur in color, character, tone and grain from product to product. Slight variations in shape and size may exist due to lumber availability, and the handmade nature of our products

Do you apply any finishes to your wood products?

To our hardwood items, we apply 100% Tung Oil - cutting boards, whiskey tumblers, toddler plates, etc. For items intended for light use or display, we do not treat. Finish will be indicated in product descriptions, and we always provide applicable care cards (hand wash only, air dry, spot cleaning)
